The Mission of the Greensburg Police Department is to protect and enhance the quality of life utilizing a Community Policing Operational philosophy, by way of maintaining public peace and order through fair, unbiased enforcement of the law; partnership with the community, and to promote a safe and secure environment free from crime and the fear of crime, for all who live, work, or visit the City of Greensburg.  Members of the Greensburg Police Department are dedicated to accomplishing this mission through full service, community involved, proactive policing.
