The Office of the Municipal Clerk serves as the professional link between the citizens of Greensburg and the governing body, the Greensburg City Council.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping records and maintaining archives
  • Recording and publishing City Council minutes
  • Process citizen and city department inquiries
  • Assists City Council with correspondence
  • Manages appointments to City's boards and committees
  • Archiving City Council documents, official proceedings, ordinances, and resolutions
  • Maintaining boards and commissions applications and appointments
  • Maintaining City Council meeting and election materials
  • Providing Notary Public services
  • Publicizing of legal notices
  • Recording official documents
  • Administers Special Event permits on city owned streets and by-ways
