  • When does City Council meet and can anyone attend?

They are normally held at 6:00 p.m. CT on the first Monday of each month. Anyone may attend a meeting.

 

  • Can I place an item on the City Council agenda?

Only the Mayor, a City Council member or the City Clerk can sponsor an item on the agenda.  All items must be submitted to the Office of City Clerk. However the Mayor will provide a time near the beginning of each Council meeting at which citizens can bring a matter before the elected body.

 

  • How can I make an appointment with the Mayor?

Mayor's night in is the second Thursday of each month from 4 pm until 8pm CT. The Mayor may also be reached via e-mail at: Mayor@Greensburgonline.com. Or you may contact City Hall at 270-932-4298 during normal business hours.

 

  • How do I obtain a City business license?

Business licenses may be obtained at City Hall on Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 4:30 M - F. or you may download an application online at our forms section.

 

  • Who do I contact to file a complaint if I notice high grass or a yard full of junk?

You may contact City Hall at 270-932-4298 but the preferred method for lodging a complaint is to use the Report an Issue form.  Please click here to lodge your complaint "Contact Form". Please note that all fields are required in the contact form and please use the text box to lodge your complaint. The complaint will be sent to the City via e-mail, directed to the appropriate individuals or department and stored.
